I’m not a tremendous fan of Daily Kos, because the culture of that site values Democratic Party electoral victories over progressive policies. But the diaries section of the site is a lot more diverse, and it’s a good place to hear about stories that don’t make the mainstream media.

Here, a reader reports on how a host on right-wing talk radio tricked his listeners into admitting (proudly) that they would support a Nazi-style Final Solution to the “Muslim Problem.” There’s not much comment that needs to be made on that. I’ve been noticing over the last year or so how right-wing commentators are increasingly using language about Muslims that is very similar to Nazi language about the Jews. I would just add that I’ve heard some right-wingers using the same sort of language about Hispanics (saying, for example, that they can’t assimilate).
